Operations Director

As the Operations Director of Oxalis Adventure Tours, Mr. Thin is responsible for ensuring smooth tour operations and the highest level of service quality for all tours provided by Oxalis. He also manages the Tú Làn Lodge in Tan Hoa - Minh Hoa - Quang Binh. He directly manages and supervises the team of tour guides and porters to ensure that safety standards and service quality are always adhered to and improved upon.

Born and raised in Phong Nha, Bo Trach, Quang Binh, Thin joined the Oxalis team when the company was first established in 2011, starting as an Adventure Tour Guide. He was also the first tour guide to lead visitors to explore Hang Son Doong - the world's largest cave. He continuously demonstrated his abilities and role and was appointed Tour Operations Manager for the Tan Hoa office in 2014.

To enhance his management skills, Mr Thin was transferred to be the General Manager of Chay Lap Farmstay Resort from 2017 to 2018, and the Operations Director of Oxalis Holiday Tours from 2018 to 2019. With his accumulated experience and management skills in various positions, he was appointed as the Operations Director of Oxalis Adventure in 12/2019.

Phan Van Thin is an experienced and knowledgeable management team member. He constantly shows strong commitment in his tour operation work, ensuring that Oxalis provides the best and safest adventure tours for its customers. In addition, with his experiences from various domestic and international travel combined with his deep understanding of local cultures, he is evaluated not only as a disciplined manager but also as a person who constantly seeks to improve the quality of tours to serve customers better.

Phan Van Thin graduated from Quang Binh University with an English degree. He holds a CEO training certificate from the PACE Business School (2017). He has also participated in many safety training courses and tourism management training programs. He is also a member of British Cave Research Association (BCRA) and the British Cave Research Association (BCRA).
