Hoang Anh Tuan was born and raised in Phong Nha, known as the “kingdom of caves.” For this reason, Tuan feels lucky to work and stay connected to his hometown. He joined Oxalis Adventure in 2015, initially working as a safety assistant before becoming a tour guide. With support from Oxalis, Tuan had the opportunity to take specialized training courses to develop his professional skills in tourism.

Tuan has led various tours, including Tu Lan, Hang Tien, and Tan Hoa. His most memorable experience was a 3-day Hang Tien tour, where he led a group for the first time under the mentorship of an experienced guide. During this trip, Tuan gained valuable insights and a deeper appreciation for the guiding profession as he engaged with guests and shared stories. With a cheerful, enthusiastic, humorous yet disciplined style, Tuan consistently strives to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for guests. He particularly enjoys climbing and swimming activities in the Tu Lan cave system, where he can explore stunning landscapes and feel the majestic power of nature.

Tuan has participated in training sessions with experts on geology, geomorphology, and rescue techniques. He is well-equipped with skills for river and stream crossings, as well as safety protocols for each trip. This knowledge allows him to guide guests with confidence, while also enhancing his soft skills and improving his English proficiency to better serve international visitors.
