SITUATION UPDATES ON COVID-19


Due to the complicated situation of Covid-19 infection in the community, from July 27, 2020 - Oxalis Adventure will relaunch all steps of the Covid-19 Prevention Measures.

Accordingly, Oxalis Adventure will temporarily stop receiving tourists from epidemic-hit areas, or who contact with F0, F1, or who are quarantined, or who cannot travel because of Covid-19 travel ban within 14 days before tour departure.*
All participants of the tours must be checked the body temperature and disinfected according to the guidance of the Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

(*) In all these cases, the tour will be canceled and Oxalis will refund 100% money back to the participants.

CORONAVIRUS PREVENTION MEASURES
IN THE NEW SITUATION

Implementing notification No.164/TB-VPCP dated April 23, 2020, on the conclusion of the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc after the government meeting on Covid-19 control measures; Official Letter No. 687/UBND-KGVX dated April 24, 2020, of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee on the continued implementation of measures to prevent and control Covid-19 in the new situation. Oxalis Adventure limited company issued Covid-19 prevention measures in the new situation which applies to all employees, laborers, and customers when negotiating or participating in the company’s services. Specifically shown as follows:

I. The process of checking, controlling customers and employees' health condition:

  • Before involving or participating in any Oxalis’s service, we must check the body temperature of every customer at the following locations: Oxalis Headquarter in Phong Nha, Oxalis Adventure Office in Tan Hoa, Chay Lap Farmstay & Resort, Riverside area and Di Di Thoi tours.
  • Set up Green Cross antibacterial hand sanitizer at reception positions, guarantee 100% of employees/customers have been disinfected before performing other businesses.
  • Laborers/visitors/overnight guests will be provided face masks for free when requested. Guests and staff wash their hands with hand sanitizer frequently before eating, after a meal and using the toilet.
  • All guests and their baggage must go through a Covid-19 mobile disinfection chamber (using Anolyte) for sterilization when entering the office or other resort areas.
  • Carry out cleaning and disinfecting in the workplace, campsites of the tours, transportations, etc. in accordance with the Ministry of Health's regulations.
  • Require customers/partners to provide medical declaration information in accordance with the Ministry of Health's regulations (online medical declaration: tokhaiyte.vn).
  • The measures to obtain the customer's medical declaration must be taken (as regulations) in the period before, during, and after at least 14 days of traveling or staying at tourist facilities.
  • Implementing measures to obtain and monitor health information of employees working at headquarter, offices, and serving in Oxalis Adventure tours.
  • All tours of the company cannot exceed 20 pax per group.
  • At the accommodation establishments: arranging 01 pax/room or 02 pax/room (if they are relatives and share rooms voluntarily); the door should be opened (if available) or adjusted air-conditioned from 27 degrees or above, set up waste collection systems at the rooms and the entire area to ensure hygiene and safety.

II. Procedures when detecting customers showing any signs of COVID-19

  • All customers showing symptoms such as high-grade fever, shortness of breath, coughing and sore throat must be taken to the isolation rooms (at the office in Tan Hoa, Phong Nha, Chay Lap Farmstay, management actively arranged 01 separate isolation room for this case).
  • Employees who take responsibility for support must be fully furnished with protective equipment including hats, gloves, face masks, rubber boots before contacting customers. Customers are strictly requested to wear a face mask in the isolated area;
  • Booking cancellation and refund will be processed by adventure consultants.
  • Call the hotline of Vietnam - Cuba Hospital in Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province at 0962 451 414 for specific instructions.
  • Call the hotline of CDC Quang Binh at 0917420268 (Mr. Hung).
  • Notify the Quang Binh Department of Tourism at hotline 02323 833 399 for assistance;
  • Make a list and contact information of people who have been in contact with suspected customers.

Above is the coronavirus prevention measures in the new situation of Oxalis Adventure. It is recommended that all Oxalis Adventure staff strictly comply with the Plan and Procedures mentioned above, to ensure the safety of their health, customers and the community as well. Oxalis Adventure will refuse to provide services for those customers who intentionally do not comply with the Process above.
