Setting up the stunt positions for the music video and making sure it was safe was quite a challenge for both the filming crew and the Oxalis Adventure staff that supported them. Long hours of making the film and making sure that the Oxalis porters and team were well fed using take-out food, which was also supplied by Oxalis cooks from camp during the filming, as the days were very long indeed. The logistics and time management were the biggest challenges faced as only 4 days in the cave was available and the Doline 1 had to be filmed whilst the sunbeams were present. This involved 2 long days in Doline 1.

10. What were the other hot spots in Phong Nha for filming?

Many locations above and below the ground were covered for filming Alan Walker’s latest song – "Alone, Pt. II". Filming was done at the Ban Doong Village, the Hang En cave entrance and numerous spots in the Son Doong cave, primarily the Hand of Dog formation and Doline 1. Apart from these locations, the surrounding wilderness of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park was also used, especially a huge tree near the exit of the Son Doong cave. Outside of the jungle and cave, the Chay River was also used as a great filming location for the video. At the Doong village (a small ethnic minority village located on the way to the Son Doong cave) was the first scene of the music video, where the main character Susanne Karin Moe picks up a guide (Tuan Vu). The third largest cave in the world – Hang En, was used as the entrance to the cave searching for the symbol. Numerous locations were used in Son Doong as well.
