Oxalis Adventure is a local tour company in Vietnam operating one-of-a-kind tours that are incomparable to anything else in the world. We strive to provide a unique experience for those seeking to explore the remote jungles, wild river caves, and quench their thirst for adventure whilst in Vietnam. Oxalis Adventure is 100% locally owned and we provide employment for hundreds of tour guides and porters in one of Vietnam’s poorest provinces. We work closely with caving experts from the British Cave Research Association to ensure that we meet international standards of safety and safeguard the integrity of the caves.

Oxalis Adventure is one of the very few travel companies operating under the B2C model in Vietnam. Every year we organize tours for about 15 thousand visitors, of which 80% are international visitors and 20% are domestic visitors. Oxalis is famous in the world such as Hang Son Doong, Tu Lan, Hang En, Hang Ba, Hang Va, Hang Tien, and unique accommodation services such as Chay Lap Farmstay, Tu Lan Lodge, Blue Diamond Camp, etc.

Oxalis regularly cooperates and coordinates the implementation of major promotional projects to the world such as National Geographic, Good Morning America, Peter Pan - The Neverland Movie, Kong: Skull Island, Alan Walker: Alone Pt.II, BBC Planet Earth III... along with hundreds of major newspapers and media organizations in the world.

Position summary

We are a special and unique marketing team, unlike any other travel company in Vietnam. We are looking for a Marketing Director for Oxalis Group (which includes Oxalis Adventure and Oxalis Holiday). The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

  • A deep knowledge and understanding of Oxalis Adventure and its strategy and core values.
  • An ability to negotiate and collaborate with Oxalis's media partners around the world for tourism promotion activities.
  • A broad vision of high-quality travel services and customer satisfaction.
  • A leadership skill to set the marketing trend for Oxalis's unique travel products.
  • A knowledge of both content and digital marketing and how to optimize them for our target audience.
  • A management skill to build and lead a strong and creative marketing team.
  • A problem-solving skill to coordinate with other departments and achieve the company's marketing goals and strategies.
  • A dedication to the company's business and growth.

Report to: CEO

Scope & detailed responsibilities
  • Be responsible for planning, implementing, and reporting marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets on suitable channels.
  • Manage Marketing Department including 2 teams with 8 headcounts:
    + Social & Media team: Social posts, press relationship, KOLs partnership, design works, copyrights, footage quantity & quality.
    + Website team: Website, Content on website (in-house, outsource) and SEO.
  • Responsible for company PR, events, exhibitions, and sponsorships...
  • Develop, update and manage corporate website, and conduct online marketing activities to generate traffic
  • Develop joint marketing projects and activities with partners and suppliers. Work closely with CEO and project team (including Oxalis caving expert, sales, operation, accounting…) and partner’s team (Press/TV channel, KOL…) to implement such special national and international projects to achieve set targets.
  • Working closely with Sales, Operations, Cave Expert, OTI (Technology) teams at both Oxalis Adventure and Oxalis holiday.
  • Play an important part in giving feedback to continuously improve customer service.
  • Monitor and review all marketing activities, and assess all the results achieved. Report marketing performance, customer insights, and other related jobs directly to the CEO.
Requirement & skills

To be a successful candidate, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience with a track record of leadership and growth.
  • Demonstrated skills in creating and executing effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong abilities in project management, multi-tasking, and decision-making.
  • A data-driven and creative approach to marketing challenges and opportunities.
  • A readiness and willingness to travel as needed.
  • A background in Tourism / Hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • A high level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
