Katien Ranger Patrol is seeking a responsible, knowledgeable, and highly motivated Tour Guide to lead and operate premium safari and wilderness experiences.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, sound judgment under field conditions, and a genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and outdoor exploration. This role requires not only guiding expertise but also a strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and guest experience excellence in alignment with Oxalis Group standards.
1. Guiding & Information Delivery
- Provide accurate, engaging, and educational interpretation about wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts within Cat Tien National Park.
- Deliver clear safety briefings and ensure guests fully understand tour guidelines and environmental protocols.
- Answer guest inquiries proactively and support guests throughout the safari experience.
- Act as a professional representative of Katien Ranger Patrol and Oxalis Group at all times.
2. Tour Management
- Ensure the safety of guests and staff throughout all safari and wilderness tours.
- Supervise and coordinate logistical arrangements before and during tours.
- Monitor environmental impact and ensure all activities follow conservation and minimal-impact principles.
- Proactively handle unexpected situations while maintaining guest satisfaction and safety standards.
3. Guest experience & team coordination
- Foster group cohesion and create meaningful connections between guests and nature.
- Collaborate closely with operations, lodge, camp and logistics teams to ensure seamless tour delivery.
- Uphold premium service standards aligned with Oxalis brand positioning.
4. Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly reports, incident reports, and other reports as required by management.
- College degree or higher.
- Good command of spoken English.
- Excellent physical condition suitable for outdoor and wilderness activities.
