Position: Adventure Sales Manager

The Adventure Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sales of Oxalis Adventure products, with a strategic focus on developing operations in Quang Tri province and Cat Tien National Park (Dong Nai). Leading a high-performing team of 3–5 Sales Staff / Adventure Travel Consultants, this role focuses heavily on direct-to-consumer (B2C) sales, corporate outreach, and strategic partnerships. The primary target markets for these products include domestic travelers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, alongside international markets.
Working closely with the Adventure Director and internal operations, the Adventure Sales Manager ensures seamless coordination in service delivery while actively contributing to overall business strategies and brand growth.
1. Market Development
- Geographic Target Execution: Design and execute targeted direct sales strategies aimed at high-yield consumer and group segments in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
- International Market: Drive strategies to capture international inbound adventure travelers, tailoring communications and sales pitches to global travel trends and behaviors.
- ACross-Location Product Driving: Proactively push sales for destination products based in Quang Tri province and Cat Tien National Park (Dong Nai) to these primary urban and overseas hubs.
2. Direct Sales
- Direct Sales: Lead the team in proactively approaching and selling adventure products directly to individual travelers (B2C) within domestic cities and international networks.
- Promotional Campaigns: Execute targeted sales promotions, Xieu program, seasonal offers, and early-bird discounts to drive direct booking volume across all target geographies.
- Digital Presence: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure tour products are accurately, attractively, and culturally represented to appeal to both Vietnamese urbanites and international guests on the website and direct consumer channels.
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Mentor & Guide: Manage and mentor a team of 3–5 Adventure Travel Consultants, providing daily guidance on lead handling, advanced sales techniques, and cross-cultural customer service excellence.
- Workflow Optimization: Oversee daily workflows, including inquiry assignments and response time monitoring (accounting for international time zones), ensuring all interactions meet Oxalis brand standards.
- Performance Tracking: Conduct regular sales coaching, performance reviews, and KPI evaluations (monitoring conversion rates, booking values, and revenue generation).
- Quality Assurance: Audit booking accuracy and data integrity in the reservation system prior to operational handovers; ensure staff consultations are accurate, professional, and tailored to diverse customer profiles.
- Talent Development: Develop training programs to strengthen product knowledge and sales capabilities. Recruit, onboard, and support new team members as the business expands.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Operations Alignment: Cooperate closely with the Operations teams in Quang Tri and Cat Tien to ensure seamless booking execution and resolve logistical challenges to maintain high service quality.
- Pre-Departure Briefings: Facilitate briefings between Sales and Operations to communicate specific guest requirements, dietary constraints (crucial for international guests), or corporate partner requests clearly.
- Strategic Support: Assist the Adventure Director in overseeing departmental activities and streamlining the communication flow between the front-end sales team and the back-end team.
- Standardization: Continuous refinement Adventure Sales Guidelines to improve efficiency and minimize errors during the booking-to-operation handoff.
- Ethics & Governance: High absolute integrity and total transparency toward company policies, financial protocols, and operating procedures.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales leadership role, preferably within tourism, hospitality, adventure travel, or premium service industries with a strong track record in handling direct, corporate, or international accounts.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both English and Vietnamese (written and spoken) to effectively manage domestic urban clients and international markets.
- Skills: Strong leadership, relationship-building, and corporate negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and CRM/Reservation systems.
- Competencies: Deep understanding of the traveler demographics in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and key global tourism hubs; ability to identify market trends and optimize direct conversion strategies.
