A present to United States friends

The Covid-19 pandemic began to break out in Wuhan, China in early January 2020 and has spread to most of the countries around the world. The number of infected people has increased to 6 million, more than 300,000 of them have been deceased. Scientists are still finding the quickest and most effective method to control the virus, as well as the vaccine, which is urgently researched and tested.

Fortunately, in Vietnam, the Vietnamese's Health Sector and government have issued drastic and effective measures to control the pandemic. Until now, only more than 300 positive cases of Covid-19 have been found, mostly have been cured without any deaths. We feel really grateful and much more fortunate than you all friends over the globe, who are still fighting against the Covid-19 epidemic day by day.

In the United States, the infected has reached nearly 2 million and the number of deaths is enormous. The pandemic has also critically affected the world's economy, from all the countries to small businesses and individuals. Worryingly, the infected are still increasing unstopping. All of our members in the Oxalis family always aspire to do something in their power to support dearly American friends. Oxalis had sent a support request to the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam and was suggested by the Ambassador Daniel J. Kritenbrink to donate protection masks, in order to support Covid-19 prevention progress through Operation USA organization. Oxalis Adventure, together with other businesses in Vietnam, has donated 1.3 million masks in total. In which, Oxalis Adventure and OneStep Vietnam contributed 60,000 masks.

On June 5, 2020, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in collaboration with Vietnamese businesses, held a donation ceremony for the US Embassy in Vietnam with the presence of Ambassador Daniel J. Kritenbrink to receive the supplies in person.

The world is fighting every day and we are all on the same page, together with the US government and many other organizations to repel this crisis.

With our minor contributions, Oxalis Adventure family hopes that we can contribute some small help to bring everything back to normal and we could see you soon in this beautiful country.

Best wishes from Vietnam, to all American friends!
